On land, it’s a short hop to the amazing Gede ruins, or learn more about smaller spectacular members of Kenya’s wildlife at Mida Creek, Butterfly Farm or BioKen Snake Centre, both hubs of conservation excellence. A short drive away, Arabuko Sokoke Forest is home to the amazing birdlife and some secretive elephants. Keep yourself fortified with endless meal options at Pili Pan, Medina Palms, Ocean Sports or the Crab Shack. If you fancy yourself as a serious fisherman, or you want to learn, Ocean Sports has some of the best deep-sea fishing boats on the coast.
