Tortilis is away from the rest, on the south western edge of the park, it is located in a private conservancy bordering the national park, game drives, walks, sundowners and bush meals

Amboseli is home to a healthy population of some of the biggest elephants in Africa, and the guides at Tortilis Camp know the individual elephants, their family history, and are able to get very close to the habituated herds.

Guests have the opportunity to meet and interact with the community to learn about the unique culture and traditions of the Masai people.
The setting lies within the world’s best elephant viewing area, in the heart of Masai country. One can even make an exclusive visit to Cynthia Moss’ Elephant Research base.
Lion, cheetah, giraffe, hyena, wildebeest and many other species of plains game are plentiful.
