Hidden in a forest along a river, Emboo River is positioned in the heart of Kenya's Maasai Mara. It is the perfect spot to explore this spectacular ecosystem and spot all its wildlife. There are animals roaming all around the lodge and sometimes even within Emboo River.

Accommodation
Emboo River has 6 River Rooms and 2 River Suites
The River Rooms are located along the river bend, your room blends in perfectly with the nature around it. The ensuite bedrooms can accommodate different room set ups e.g double room, twin room, double room with 1 child in kid bed/cot

The River Suites have beautiful en suite bathrooms with rain shower overlooking nature. The bedrooms are bigger and can accommodate different room set ups e.g double room, tripple room, double room with 2 or 3 children in kid bed/cot. The terrace overlooking the river is the perfect spot for sunset drinks and private dinners.

Get ready for Emboo River's Game Drives which take you on adventures through the Maasai Mara and allow you to spot so many animals and enjoy beautiful landscapes. Game Drives start as soon as you jump into your safari vehicle, because Emboo River is located in the middle of nature. There are animals all around the camp and you do not lose time driving to wildlife. Our central location in the Maasai Mara National Reserve allows you to see it all.
Activities at Emboo River
See the great migration : The herds include millions of Wildebeest, Zebra and Antilopes which migrate across the eco system of the Maasai Mara and the Serengeti in search of lush grass.
Maasai culture: During your stay at Emboo River you will have plenty of opportunities to learn about the culture, history and day-to-day life of the Maasai tribe.
Bush Meals : Emboo River's meals are served in our lounge area along the river bend, on the terrace in front of your room or in the midst of the savanna for a bush breakfast or lunch.
Swimming : Enjoy a dip in Emboo River's natural swimming pool that overlooks the river and the grasslands beyond.
